- Plenary Indulgence: Granted to the faithful who visit Franciscan conventual churches, places of worship, or sites associated with the saint, under the usual conditions (confession, Communion, prayer for the Pope).
- Purpose: To encourage the imitation of St. Francis’s life of holiness, peace, and care for creation in a world marked by conflict.
- Key Event: The body of St. Francis will be publicly displayed for veneration in Assisi during the spring of 2026.
